Emoo FM’s Robert Chirchir Commends David Keter (Dorlaline) for His Outstanding Leadership, Business Acumen, and Commitment to Livestock Development.
In a gesture that highlights the growing relationship between the media and emerging political leaders, Renown Media correspondent Robert Chirchir of Emoo FM made a prompt visit to David Keter (popularly known as Dorlaline), a Member of Parliament aspirant for Emurua Dikirr Constituency, yesterday.
The visit, which took place at Keter’s home and farm in Emurua Dikirr, centered on discussions about leadership, economic empowerment, youth engagement, and agribusiness — key pillars of Keter’s development vision for the people of Emurua Dikirr and beyond.
During the interaction, Mr. Chirchir took time to congratulate Mr. Keter for his admirable achievements in both business and livestock rearing, describing him as a “progressive leader with a clear vision for his people.” He lauded Keter’s passion for balancing enterprise and public service, qualities he said are rare among upcoming politicians.

“It is inspiring to see a leader who is deeply rooted in both business and agriculture while still pursuing political leadership. Mr. Keter represents the kind of leadership our society needs — grounded, hardworking, and people-focused,” said Mr. Chirchir.
As the two toured Keter’s expansive farm, Mr. Chirchir expressed curiosity about how Keter manages to balance his political ambitions, business operations, and livestock enterprises, noting that he has consistently made visible progress in all fields.
In his response, Mr. Keter (Dorlaline) expressed his gratitude to the Emoo FM journalist and shared insights into his leadership philosophy and daily routine.
“Balancing business, politics, and livestock is not an easy task,” said Keter. “However, with discipline, teamwork, and a clear sense of purpose, everything falls into place. My greatest motivation is the people of Emurua Dikirr, whose resilience inspires me every day.”
He further emphasized that his journey from entrepreneurship to politics is guided by a desire to create opportunities for others — especially young people and farmers of Emurua Dikirr — to thrive.
“Agriculture and livestock farming are not just sources of income; they are part of our identity and culture,” he added. “If elected, I will prioritize agricultural development, modern farming techniques, and market access for our farmers to ensure sustainable livelihoods for all.”
The aspiring MP also highlighted ongoing community projects he has supported, including youth empowerment initiatives, women-led business programs, and livestock breeding improvements.
Observers present during the visit commended the cordial relationship between the media and aspiring leaders, saying it reflects a new era of transparent and people-centered journalism that seeks to highlight leadership built on integrity and service.
